From The Good Farm in Kansas there is milk-fed heritage pig and the Liberty Farm Ducks are stuffed with sausage, farro and fig. Wild mushrooms are cooking, black truffles are at their peak. Special Holiday Hours

Fatted Calf at the Oxbow Public Market in Napa will be open from 9 am until 5 pm on Wednesday, December 24th and December 31st. The store will be closed on Thursday, December 25th for Christmas and January 1st for New Year’s Day.

Fatted Calf on Fell Street in San Francisco will be open from 10 am until 6 pm on Wednesday, December 24th and December 31st. The store will be closed on Thursday, December 25th for Christmas and January 1st for New Year’s Day.

There will be no deliveries to Vintage Berkeley on Thursday, December 25th or January 1st.

Farewell To The Ferry Plaza Farmers Market

After nine amazing years of participation at the Ferry Plaza Farmers’ Market, Saturday, December 20th will be our last market as we have made the extremely difficult choice to cease our Farmers’ Market operations in 2015. A variety of factors contributed to this decision, but ultimately it was our desire to remain small, keep the quality of our products and customer service excellent and concentrate our resources at our stores in Napa and in San Francisco where growth has been keeping us on our toes. This has been one of the hardest decisions we have ever had to make because our ties with the market, our fellow vendors and our market customers go well beyond the realm of business. We are enormously grateful to CUESA and a food culture in the Bay Area that allows hundreds of small, quality-obsessed businesses like ours to flourish. It is our sincere hope that we will continue to see all of you who have been so supportive over the years at our brick and mortar locations in Hayes Valley and in Napa.
